💡 Factory Note: The Secret to Perfect Linen Finishes

Calibrating Calendering Pressure on Heavy Black Core Stock

When applying a calendered linen texture over a gloss varnish on dense 310gsm stock, roller pressure calibration is critical.

• If the pressure is too high: The embossing cylinder can cause micro-fractures in the varnish, potentially exposing the dark inner graphite core along the texture lines.
• If the pressure is too low: The cards lack sufficient air pockets and will clump together in high-humidity environments.
