🏭 Press Room Insight: Mastering Foil & Color Fidelity

Pro-Tip for Creators: When applying full holographic laminates or cold foil over vibrant character art, we highly recommend utilizing a spot opaque white ink base layer (white underprinting).

This base layer should be applied directly beneath the character’s face and skin tones. Without this crucial step, the metallic effect will show through the translucent CMYK inks.

Skipping the white mask alters the character’s natural skin color and makes the artwork look muddy. This masking technique ensures your 2D artwork remains true to your vision while the background achieves maximum brilliance.
